Privacy Policy for Flashlight

This Privacy Policy describes how the Flashlight app (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. The App is published by alphabeta.systems.

Information the App collects

The App itself does not require you to create an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name or email address.

The App displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners (for example, Google AdMob). To serve and measure ads, these partners may collect and process:

• Your device's Advertising ID
• Approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address
• Device information (device model, operating system version, language)
• App interaction and ad-interaction data (e.g. ads viewed or tapped)

This data is collected by the advertising partner's SDK, not directly by us, and is used to deliver and measure advertising.

How information is used

Collected data is used to display advertising, measure ad performance, and keep the App functioning. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

The App uses Google AdMob. Google's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies. You can learn about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android).

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and security

We do not maintain our own servers storing your personal data. Any data collected by advertising partners is retained according to their respective policies.

Website download statistics

When you download the app from this website, our web server records the request — as any website does — so we can count downloads. This is standard server-side logging on alphabeta.systems and is separate from the App itself, which contains no such tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
